Jennifer Strickland

Jennifer Strickland is a dynamic speaker and writer whose mission is to inspire girls to see their value through God’s eyes. As a former professional model who left the business to walk with Christ, Jennifer lived the worldly life that fascinates people. Today, she speaks widely on the timely topics of beauty, body image, self-worth and faith.

Jennifer has a Master’s degree in Writing and Literature – with a focus in Biblical Studies – as well as a B.A. in Broadcast Journalism from USC, where she attended as a Presidential scholar. She has taught high school and college-level writing, but has found her passion in speaking and writing to a generation in desperate need of God’s love.

In her modeling career, she was represented by FORD Models NYC, Nina Blanchard of L.A. and FASHION Milan. She lived and worked in Paris, New York, Milan, Munich, Athens and Sydney. At eighteen, she was named the “Face of the ‘90s.” As a commercial model for Oil of O’lay, Mercedes Benz, Converse Tennis Shoes and many more, she reached the pinnacle of her career on the runway for Armani.

But an emptiness within caused her to cry out to a God she did not know.  From there, her life took many drastic turns, most of all towards Christ.

Today, Jennifer has a thriving ministry as a mentor for high school girls and speaks at women’s, teen, and mother / daughter events around the country.  Her first book was released in the summer of 2008. In it, she shares her incredible journey while imparting life-changing lessons for women from all walks of life.
