Danielle has a passion for helping today’s authors get their message out in today’s media market, using proven techniques and media. She can provide professional service and exposure while avoiding the larger expenses often associated with other professional publicity firms.
Danielle operates with nearly a decade of experience in publicity, specializing in the Christian publishing industry. She has built her career around experience gained while working with such well known publishers as Thomas Nelson, B&H Publishing Group, and NavPress. Over the course of the past decade, she’s worked with many well known authors including John & Stasi Eldredge, Don Miller, Charles Stanley, Anita Renfroe, Andy Stanley, Tommy Tenney and Paula White. Additionally, she was part of the initial publicity launch for such well known titles as Wild at Heart and Blue Like Jazz.
Danielle has experience working with a variety of books including Christian Living, Self-Help, Health, Cookbooks, Theology and Evangelism. She also has experience working with niche markets such as Bibles, reference titles, fiction, as well as homeschooling books and curricula. She also has experience on the other side of publicity having worked as a reporter & photographer for the Smithville Democrat-Herald and as a promotions coordinator for KCLR-FM in Columbia, MO.
Danielle has a Bachelors of Journalism degree from the famed University of Missouri-Columbia, Missouri School of Journalism with an emphasis in Advertising and Public Relations. This foundation provides Danielle with a depth of experience working with all media types and an intricate working knowledge of the media. Danielle started Douglas Public Relations in 2007 and is based out of Colorado Springs where she resides with her husband and two children.
